Funded by Research Councils UK, the Biofoundry is the core of SynbiCITE’s facilities hub, equipped with advanced robotic systems for automated design, construction, and validation of large gene constructs. These cutting-edge resources enable researchers and companies to rapidly develop biologically based chemicals, drugs, and materials, accelerating innovation in engineering biology.
