Contact details

Marta completed her training in microbiology in Canada, obtaining a BSc at the University of Guelph and PhD at Dalhousie University, where she investigated mechanisms involved in virus-mediated cellular fusion. She then moved to the UK to pursue post-doctoral training in synthetic biology focusing on gene expression noise and antimicrobial resistance at Imperial College London. At the BioFoundry, she is responsible for applying a range of molecular biology techniques to manipulate yeast and bacteria in high-throughput, multi-factorial experiments.
