The Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre (IBioIC), in association with SynbiCITE, will hold a 4-Day MBA in Glasgow from 20-24 November, aiming to develop the entrepreneurship of future biotechnology leaders. The interactive course will cover key strategies required to establish, build and manage a biotechnology company with particular focus on set-up, funding and intellectual property.
The course, limited to 30 places, is aimed at budding entrepreneurs, and is ideally suited to those currently in the process of starting their own biotechnology business or intending to do so. Participants will receive valuable training from a team of experienced SynbiCITE consultants along with a registered Growth Coach, claiming over 100 years of experience in the biotechnology industry between them. There will also be a wide variety of guest speaker appearances, evening dinner presentations and unique networking opportunities with potential funders, investors and collaborators.
IBiolC, launched in 2014, is intent on bridging the gap between education and industry in the industrial biotechnology sector, envisioning the creating of a truly distinctive, world-leading innovation center for industrial biotechnology. SynbiCITE, as a pioneering Innovation and Knowledge Centre, is dedicated to promoting the adoption and use of synthetic biology by industry, and accelerating the commercialization of emerging synthetic biology and engineering biology technologies.
